Most people wouldn’t feel comfortable yelling at the First Lady of the United States.
But most people aren’t Billy Eichner, the very gay and very loudmouthed force of nature behind the wild game show Billy on the Street.
But rather than running around the streets of New York City with the likes of Paul Rudd or Amy Poehler, Eichner has somehow managed to round up Michelle Obama and Sesame Street’s Big Bird to play the game.
The setting is a supermarket produce section in a nod to Obama’s ongoing campaign to get families to eat more fruits and vegetables.
‘This must be the highlight of your career FLOTUS,’ Eichner said to Obama after he had her push him around the market as he sat inside a shopping cart reciting Gwyneth Paltrow’s Oscar speech for Shakespeare in Love.
Other highlights include Obama’s inability to name the four main characters from the sitcom The Facts of Life, her saying a box of corn is more deserving of a Kennedy Center Honors than Martin Short and her opinion that her husband is sexier than Abraham Lincoln.
Eichner picked Lincoln and scolded the First Lady by screaming: ‘You’re very offensive to Mary Todd!’
