Taking place from 6 to 19 May, the festival is the largest of its kind in the world. Over 200 performances will take place in six venues around Dublin bringing together artists from around the globe.
Associate director of the festival Gareth Hurley has expressed his enthusiasm for the pairing. ‘I am really looking forward to the possibility of working with Gay Star News, this could be a very productive partnership for both of us.’
This partnership will support the festival in bringing news and updates to an international audience.
Anthony Fortune, marketing executive at GSN, says: ‘With our global audience reach each month and a particularly enthusiastic audience for GSN in Ireland, this really is a perfect partnership for us.
‘Gay Star News knows how important it is to embrace LGBT culture and the festival provides this in droves. And we all love a birthday celebration!’
Festival highlights include Irish Theatre Shorts, Shout! The Mod Musical and the Oscar Wilde’s classic story, The Happy Prince, to name but a few. Stay tuned in coming weeks for further announcements on this festival and more.
