George Takei may not have survived very long on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice but the Star Trek icon has shown, once again, that he knows how to live long and prosper.
Takei was so 'thrilled beyond words' about raising $158,322 for the musical Allegiance, that he broke into what he calls his 'happy dance.'
Still fit and trim as he approaches the age of 75, Takei wears black jeans and a tight black T-shirt as he does his dance and lip syncs to LMFAO's song Sexy and I Know It.
Takei's husband, Brad Altman, gave 'reluctant permission' for Takei to film the dance and appears at the end in a cute moment.
Takei says Allegiance is Broadway bound and is the very first musical to deal with the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. It is a subject that is close to the actor's heart since he and his family spent extended time in the camps.
