Ghana gay porn stars to be hunted down and ‘punished’

Young men who have acted in gay porn films in Ghana are to be hunted down and arrested and possibly tortured, following a call from the country’s media.

Most of the students who have performed in the films are now in hiding.

StarrFMonline and Breeze FM ‘exposed’ the ‘festering underground gay porn movie industry’.

In their reports, the Ghanaian news sources directly blamed ‘foreign producers preying on jobless men’ at the University of Ghana.

The Bureau of National Investigations, the internal intelligence agency, are trying to find the young men. They have the jurisdiction to arrest, detain without trial indefinitely and ‘interrogate’ any of their targets.

Gary Nimako, a lawyer and prominent homophobic leader, has led the calls for the students to be publicly punished.

‘People are aware that the society frowns upon it,’ Gary Nimako told Starr Today.

‘They have engaged in an illegality and they must be arrested.’

A gay rights activist in Ghana, who spoke to Gay Star News on the condition on anonymity, said if they are found, they are likely to be tortured or even killed.

‘We are trying to get all of the men to safety and out of the country,’ they said. ‘This is a terrifying situation for all involved.’
