Trans Drag Race queen Gia Gunn has slammed RuPaul as ‘ignorant’.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season two star criticized RuPaul at a recent gig.

‘Welcome to the world of drag that includes transgender,’ Gunn said.

‘Fuck Miss RuPaul and her ignorant ass comments.

‘We are coming into 2019. I’m tired of giving hos credit when they don’t deserve it.

‘It’s time to give credit to what makes the world go round: us queens and us as a community.’

Fans have suggested Gunn’s comments are likely to do with RuPaul’s comments about trans people in 2017.

He previously said trans queens wouldn’t be welcome on the show. He also compared trans people with queens who have had plastic surgery.

Writing on Twitter, he apologized: ‘Each morning I pray to set aside everything I THINK I know, so I may have an open mind and a new experience.’

He added: ‘I understand and regret the hurt I have caused. The trans community are heroes of our shared LGBTQ movement. You are my teachers.’

The LGBTI advocate posted a second tweet saying Drag Race has only looked for ‘charisma uniqueness nerve and talent,’ which would ‘never change.’

Sonique, a trans queen from season two, appeared in the holiday special. Gunn then has been starring in season four of All Stars. Stacey Layne Matthews also made a ‘legend’ cameo in the second episode of this current season.

‘It’s starting to come off opportunistic of Gia.’
