Kesha and Lady Gaga have both received two Grammy nominations.

The list of nominations was released today (28 November).

Kesha earned her nomination in the Best Pop Solo Performance category with single Praying.

Million Reasons received Lady Gaga’s first nomination.

The Grammy Awards also nominated What About Us by Pink for Best Pop Solo Performance.

The Best Pop Vocal Album category gave Gaga and Kesha their second nominations.

Kesha reveieved a nominated for her album Rainbow.

Joanna was Lady Gaga’s latest album which earned her this nomination.

Billboard asks if Gaga stands a chance in her categories.

They question whether Gaga ‘exceeded expectations in 2017 or simply met them adequately.’

The singer had five Grammy nominations in 2010. She won two.

She had six nominations in 2011, and won three.

In recent years her number of nominations have decreased.

Logic’s 1-800-273-8255 received a nomination for Song Of The Year.

The song’s title is the number for the US’s National Suicide Prevention Hotline.

Logic explained: ‘I don’t care if you’re Christian, you’re Muslim, you’re gay, you’re straight, I am here to fight for your equality.

‘Because I believe that we are all born equal, but we are not treated equally and that is why we must fight.’
