Gus Kenworthy just posted the cutest throwback photos of himself and Adam Rippon at the Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.
It has been a full year since the pair made history together.
Kenworthy wrote in the caption to four photos: ‘One year ago today [Adam Rippon] and I became the first two openly gay American men to walk into the Opening Ceremonies at a Winter Olympics!’

Rippon responded with three smiling emojis, complete with love hearts floating around them.
During the Olympic Games, Rippon won a bronze medal as part of the figure skating team event. This made him the first openly gay US male athlete to win a medal in a Winter Olympics.
Kenworthy came in twelfth in the men’s ski slopestyle final. He went viral during the broadcast of the games when he kissed his boyfriend.
