Harry Styles, Rita Ora and other stars take selfies to support gay charity

Harry Styles, Rita Ora and Alan Carr are among the stars taking selfies to support Stonewall’s 25th anniversary.

The gay equality charity group reaches its milestone this week, with many celebrities taking part in the celebrations.

Teaming up with SNOG Frozen Yogurt and designer Carry Munden, Stonewall is also asking fans to take part in the campaign.

Other celebrities involved include Alan Cumming, Calvin Klein, Carmen Carrera, Jack Whitehall, Katy B, Melanie C, Naomi Campbell, Noomi Rapace, Paloma Faith, Russell Brand and Sam Smith.

Ruth Hunt, Acting Chief Executive of Stonewall, said: ‘In our 25th year we know that there’s still so much work to do.

‘Around the world in countries like Russia, Nigeria and Uganda, LGBT people are being oppressed and persecuted simply because of who they are.

‘We’ve achieved so much here in Britain and with your support we can do the same around the world.’
