The Wanna Be Missed singer, who is openly lesbian, was performing at the annual Ally Coalition benefit.
‘So I’m gonna bring out a friend, she’s really talented,’ said Hayley, introducing Taylor.
She furthermore said: ‘She just got off tour, she just signed with Universal, and she’s really nervous.’

‘Hayley is killing it’
‘It’s so great to be at this incredible show,’ Swift later said.
‘Hayley is killing it,’ she furthermore added. ‘Her family’s in the audience, so Hayley’s killing it, right?’
Hayley’s debut album Expectations reached number 11 in the US album charts earlier this year.
The non-profit Ally Coalition was up by musician Jack Antonoff and his sister.
It fights to ‘end discrimination against LGBTQ people by highlighting systemic inequality and LGBTQ-serving organizations and creating opportunities for fans and entertainers to advocate for equality,’ according to its mission statement.
Video Games singer Lana Del Rey also performed at the show last night.
The show raised $200,000 (£157,000, €176,000) for the Ally Coalition’s good causes.
