Here’s everything we know about Lady Gaga’s Las Vegas residency

Lady Gaga has just revealed the details of her upcoming Las Vegas residency. Titled ENIGMA, it will include four intimate ‘jazz and piano engagements’.

The international pop star announced her exclusive residency in December last year and today shared the details ENIGMA.

‘I can’t wait to share ENIGMA with all of my fans and with Las Vegas. We’re creating a show unlike anything I’ve done before. It will be a celebration of all that is unique and different within us,’ Lady Gaga said in a statement.

‘The challenges of bravery can be overcome with creativity and courage that is grown out of adversity, love and music.’

The Golden Globe winner will perform 23 ENIGMA shows and four intimate ‘jazz and piano engagements’ at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino.

ENIGMA will be a brand-new odyssey of her pop hits ‘built as an experience unlike any other’. But the LADY GAGA JAZZ & PIANO shows will feature stripped-down versions of her hits as well as music from the Great American Songbook.

Her residency will run for two years with the first lot of shows starting on 28 December and running until early February. Lady Gaga will then finish start another run of shows from the beginning of June 2019.

Pre-sale tickets will be available to Lady Gaga’s Little Monsters fan community from tomorrow. General tickets sales go on sale on 12 August (Pacific Time). Prices will start from US$77.90 to premium tickets costing about US$505.

Lady Gaga’s Oscar glory

It’s a busy year for the pop star who is working on her sixth studio album and another jazz album with icon, Tony Bennett.

But she will also hit the press circuit in October this year to promote her new film, A Star is Born. The directorial of debut of actor Bradley Cooper is a hot favorite ahead of the 2019 awards season, with Lady Gaga already a front runner for the Best Actress Oscar.

Some observers have even speculated the ENIGMA dates were scheduled to allow the singer to attend the major awards ceremonies.

The residency will give Lady Gaga the chance to return to performing after cancelling multiple shows during her 2018 Joanne tour due to illness.

She suffers from fibromyalgia, a chronic disease that causes fatigue, muscle aches, difficulty sleeping and concentrating.
