Hillary doesn’t laugh when reading insulting Trump quote about Rosie

Hillary Clinton was a guest this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Hillary Clinton stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday and the host tried to get her to laugh by having her pick random Donald Trump quotes out of a hat and reading them aloud.

The gag fell a bit flat when one of the quotes was about Clinton supporter Rosie O’Donnell.

Read Clinton from a slip of paper: ‘If I were running The View, I’d fire Rosie O’Donnell. I mean, I’d look at her right in that fat, ugly face of hers (and) I’d say, “Rosie, you’re fired.”‘

‘That’s not funny,’ Clinton said, looking serious. ‘That’s not funny.’

Well before Trump began insulting his opponents and various groups during his current presidential campaigns, he was insulting O’Donnell.

The feud began nearly a decade ago when O’Donnell, during her first stint as a co-host on ABC’s The View, ridiculed Trump for his handling of a Miss USA controversy calling him a ‘snake-oil salesman’ and mocked his hairstyle.

Trump responded by unleashing a tirade of insults aimed at O’Donnell’s weight (she has since lost more than 50 pounds) and has called her a ‘loser’ various times.

‘She’s an extremely unattractive person who doesn’t understand the truth. … I think she’s a terrible person … She has failed at everything she has done… She’s a bully and she sucker punches people,’ Trump said on CNN’s Larry King Live at that time.

O’Donnell, who rejoined The View in September 2014 the left again in February 2015, reflected on the Trump insults last year.

‘Probably the Trump stuff was the most bullying I ever experienced in my life, including as a child,’ she told People Magazine. ‘It was national, and it was sanctioned societally. Whether I deserved it is up to your own interpretation.’

During the first Republican presidential debate in August when moderator Megyn Kelly asked Trump about his various insults aimed at women over the years.

‘You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals,’ Kelly began before being interrupted by Trump who said: ‘Only Rosie O’Donnell.’
