Major Pride events and LGBTI festivals coming up around the globe in 2019.

January

  • Aspen Gay Ski Week – Aspen, Colorado, US – 13-20 January 2019. A week-long LGBTI winter vacation event in the popular ski destination.
  • Mid-Atlantic Leather Weekend – Washington, D.C., US – 18-20 January 2019.
  • Bärenpaadiie (Hamburg Bear Week) – Hamburg, Germany – 18-20 January 2019. Main party on Saturday 19 January.
  • Arosa Gay Ski Week – Arosa, Switzerland – 19-26 January 2019.
  • Whistler Pride and Ski Festival – Whistler, Canada –21-27 January.
  • Winter Pride – London, UK – 26 January 2019.  Start the LGBTI year at London’s Scala in King’s Cross with a Magical Circus theme.
  • BeefDip Bear Week – Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – 27 January-3 February 2019.
  • Yangon Pride – Yangon, Myanmar – 25-27 January.

February

  • Yangon Pride – Yangon, Myanmar – 1-3 February. Celebrations will include the very first ever LGBTI riverboat parade in Myanmar.
  • Queer Azaadi Mumbai – Mumbai, India – Main parade on 2 February.
  • Copenhagen Winter Pride – Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from 4-10 February.
  • Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras – Sydney, Australia – 15 February-3 March 2019. Australia’s biggest Pride comes back with a two-week long festival.
  • Pride Fort Lauderdale Festival – Fort Lauderdale, Florida – First parade ever on Fort Lauderdale Beach, the festival runs from 21-24 February.
  • National Student Pride – London – 22-24 February.

March

  • Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Main Parade – Sydney, Australia – 2 March 2019. This year’s theme is Fearless.
  • ChillOut Daylesford – Daylesford, Australia – 7-11 March 2019. The main parade is on Sunday 10 March.
  • The Palace International Film Festival – Bristol, England – 14-16 March.

April

  •  Miami Beach Gay Pride – Miami, Florida, US – 1-7 April 2019. The main parade is on 7 April.

  • Breck Pride Week – Breckenridge, Colorado, US. A week-long celebration of the LGBTI community at the popular ski resort. Runs 3-7 April.
  • Phoenix Pride – Phoenix, Arizona, US. The parade takes place Sunday 7 April.
  • Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend – Palm Springs, California, US – 4-7 April 2019. A long weekend getaway and music festival for lesbian and bi women.
  • Big Boy Pride – Orlando, Florida, US. Small festival to celebrate ‘urban debonair Big Brothas of color and the men who admire them’ – 11-15 April.
  • Jasper Pride – Jasper, Alberta, Canada. A small pride event in the ski resort town of Jasper, from 25-28 April.
  • Tokyo Rainbow Pride – Tokyo, Japan – 28 April-6 May.
  • Digital Pride – The worldwide, online Pride festival returns 29 April-5 May.

May

  • Maspalomas Gay Pride – Maspalomas, Gran Canaria. The 18th Maspalomas Gay Pride runs 2-12 May 2019.
  • Houston Splash –Houston, Texas, US – 2-6 May.
  • Raleigh Pride – Raleigh, North Carolina, US. Saturday 4 May.
  • Swansea Pride – Swansea, Wales, UK – 4 May.
  • Tokyo Rainbow Pride – Tokyo, Japan. The main parade is on 6 May.
  • Pride Cambodia –Phnom Phen, Cambodia – 14-18 May.
  • Belgian Pride – Brussels, Belgium – 18 May 2019.
  • Capital Trans Pride – Washington, DC – 18 May 2019.
  • Springfield PrideFest –Springfield, Illinois, US – 18 May 2019.
  • Long Beach Pride – Long Beach, LA, US – 18-19 May 2019. The main parade is on Sunday 19 May.
  • Puerto Vallarta Pride – Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – 20-27 May. Cultural events, parades, pool parties and other activities in sunny Puerto Vallarta.
  • DC Black Pride – 24-27 May 2019.
  • Rochdale Pride – 25 May 2019 – First Pride parade in Rochdale.
  • Birmingham Pride – Birmingham, UK – 25-26 May, with the main parade Saturday 25 May.

  • Sun City Pride 2019 – El Paso, Texas, US – 27 May-3 June. Main parade on Saturday 1 June.
  • Provincetown Pride – Provincetown, Massachusetts – Second Pride ever in the popular gay hub, running 31 May-2 June.

June

  • Northumberland Pride –Alnwick Rugby Club, England  – 1 June.
  • Utah Pride – Salt Lake City, Utah, US. Runs 1-2 June, with the parade on Sunday 2 June.

  • Oxford Pride – Oxford, England, UK. Famed University town hosts Pride festival 24 May-2 June, with the parade on Saturday 1 June.
  • Provincetown Pride – Provincetown, Massachusetts, US. This is the second LGBTI celebration in Provincetown, running from 30 May-2 June.
  • Dallas Pride – Dallas, Texas, Us. From 1-2 June.
  • Capital Pride – Washington DC, US. From 31 May-9 June.
  • Los Angeles Pride  – LA, California, US – 1-9 June, with the festival taking place on 8-9 June.
  • Key West Pride – Florida, US. Runs 5-9 June.
  • Gay Pride Rome – Rome, Italy. Roma Pride takes places Saturday 8 June.
  • Albuquerque Pride – Albuquerque, New Mexico, US – 7-9 June.
  • New Orleans Pride – New Orleans, Louisiana, US – 7-9 June.
  • Athens Pride – Athens, Greece – 9 June.
  • Baltic Pride – Vilnius, Lithuania. This year’s Baltic Pride runs 4-9 June, with the parade on Saturday 8 June.
  • Sacramento Pride – Sacramento, California, US – 3-9 June.
  • Vienna Pride – Vienna, Austria. The Austrian capital has been selected to host EuroPride in 2019. The festival runs from 1-16 June with the parade taking place on 15 June.
  • Tristate Black Pride – Memphis, Tennessee, US – 13-16 June.
  • Manilva Pride – Málaga, Spain – 14-16 June.
  • Columbus Pride – Columbus, Ohio, US – 14-16 June.
  • Trans Pride LA – Los Angeles, California – 14-15 June.
  • Tel Aviv Pride – Tel Aviv, Israel. From 9-16 June, with the parade on Friday 14 June.
  • Gothenburg (West Pride) – Gothenburg, Sweden. It runs 12-16 June.
  • Shanghai Pride – Shanghai, China – 13-16 June.
  • Oslo Pride – Oslo, Norway. The festival runs from 14-23 June, with the main parade on 22 June.
  • St. Petersburg Pride –St. Petersburg, Florida, US – 21-23 June.
  • Nashville Pride – Nashville, Tennessee, US – 22 June.
  • Houston Pride – Houston, Texas, US. Afternoon festival and evening parade on Saturday 22 June.
  • Lancaster Pride – Lancaster, Lancashire, England – 22-23 June.
  • Sao Paulo Pride – Sao Paolo, Brazil. One of the biggest Pride festivals in the world. It returns Sunday 23 June 2018.
  • Seattle Queer/Pride Festival – Seattle, Washington, US – Grammy winner Mýa, Big Freedia, RPDR queens and more perform at the festival sponsored by the famous LGBTI bar in Seattle on 28-30 June.

  • Pride Toronto – Toronto, Canada. The parade is on 23 June.
  • Twin Cities Pride – Minneapolis, Minnesota, US. From 22-23 June (parade on 23 June).
  • Paris Pride – Paris, France – Saturday 29 June.
  • San Antonio Pride – San Antonio, Texas, US. Pride festival returns Saturday 29 June.
  • Dublin Pride – Dublin, Ireland. Festival runs 20-29 June, with the parade taking place on 29 June.
  • NYC Pride – New York City, US. New York hosts World Pride in 2019, marking the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. The main parade is on Sunday 30 June, with associated events spanning the entire month.
  • Seattle Pride – Seattle, Washington, US. Pride parade on Sunday 30 June.
  • Chicago Pride – Chicago, Illinois, US. This year’s parade takes place on 30 June.
  • Helsinki Pride – Helsinki, Finland. Runs 24-30 June 2019
  • Barcelona Pride – Barcelona, Spain. From 28-30 June.
  • NYC Queer Liberation March – 30 June. Alternative, political march taking place in New York.
  • San Francisco Pride – San Francisco, California, US, 29-30 June.

July

  • Pride in London – London, UK. The festival runs from 23 June-7 July, with the main parade on Saturday 6 July.

  • Madrid Pride – Madrid, Spain. One of the biggest Pride gatherings in Europe, it returns Saturday 6 July.
  • San Diego Pride –San Diego, California – 12-14 July.
  • Bristol Pride – Bristol, UK. Returns 1-14 July, culminating in the annual parade on 13 July.
  • Pride Glasgow – Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Taking place 13-14 July.
  • Charlotte Black Pride – Charlotte, North Carolina, US – 17-21 July.
  • Black Pride RVA – Richmond, Virginia, US – 18-21 July.
  • IW Pride – Isle of Wight Pride – Isle of Wight, UK. It runs Saturday 20 July.
  • Pride in Hull – Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire, England – 20 July.
  • Folkestone Pride – Folkestone, Kent, England. Second annual Pride festival on Saturday 20 July.
  • Morecambe Pride –Morecambe, Lancashire, England – 22 July (TBC).
  • CSD – Berlin – Berlin, Germany. Christopher Street Day (CSD) Berlin. The parade returns Saturday 27 July.
  • Norwich Pride – Norwich, England. Annual event celebrates its tenth anniversary in the east of England city on Saturday 27 July.
  • Liverpool Pride – Liverpool, UK. 27-28 July.

August

  • Belfast Pride – Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. Runs 26 July-4 August, with a parade on Saturday 3 August.
  • Pride Amsterdam – Amsterdam, Netherlands. This year’s event runs from 27 July till 4 August, with the famed Canal Parade on 4 August.
  • Vancouver Pride – Vancouver, Canada. Annual Pride parade on Saturday 4 August.
  • Stockholm Pride – Stockholm, Sweden. Stockholm Pride runs 29 July-3 August, with the main parade on 2 August.
  • Brighton and Hove Pride – Brighton, UK. This year’s festival runs 2-4 August, with the main parade and Preston Park festival on 3 August.
  • Leeds Pride – Leeds, UK. Returning Sunday 4 August.
  • Pride in Surrey – Woking, Surrey, England – 10 August.
  • Prague Pride – Prague, Czech Republic. Runs 5-11 August, with the parade on 10 August.
  • Chester Pride – Chester, UK. Returns to Castle Square, Chester on Saturday 10 August.
  • Reykjavík Pride – Reykjavík, Iceland. From 8-17 August, with the main parade (17 August) attended by up to a third of the island’s population!

  • Copenhagen Pride – Copenhagen, Denmark. Runs 13-18 August, with the parade on Saturday 17 August.
  • Montreal Pride – Montreal, Canada. Runs from 8-18 August.
  • Pride Cymru – Cardiff, Wales, UK. The biggest annual Pride event in Wales. Dates to be confirmed.
  • Manchester Pride – Manchester, UK. The annual big weekend Pride festival takes over the late August bank holiday.
  • Birmingham Black Pride – Birmingham, Alabama, US – 16-18 August.
  • South Carolina Black Pride –Columbia, South Carolina, US – 22-25 August.
  • Pride in Newry – Newry, Northern Ireland. The city in Northern Ireland will host Uk Pride on 31 August 2019.

September

  • Malta Pride – Valletta, Malta. It takes place from 6-15 September.
  • Space Coast Pride – Melbourne, Florida, US – Festival and parade take place on 28 September.
  • Curaçao Pride – Willemstad, Curaçao. The sixth Curaçao Pride festival returns 25-29 September.

October

  • Pink Dot Hong Kong – Hong Kong. Date to be confirmed, but this Hong Kong Pride festival is usually in October each year – check the Facebook page for more details.
  • Atlanta Pride – Atlanta, Georgia, US – 11-13 October.
  • Nashville Black Pride – Nashville, Tennessee, US – 11-13 October.
  • Gainesville Pride of Color – Gainesville, Florida, US – 16-21 October (TBC).
  • Taipei Pride – Tapei, Taiwan. One of the biggest Pride festivals in Asia, it takes place every last Saturday in October (26 October 2019).

November

  • Greater Palm Springs Pride – Palm Springs, California, US. Pride Week dates to be announced.
  • Buenos Aires Pride – Buenos Aires, Argentina. Pride parade on Saturday 2 November.
