Gay Twitter is abuzz with rumors around Richard Madden and Sam Smith’s ex Brandon Flynn.
The non-binary British singer, Smith, dated the 13 Reasons Why actor, Flynn, for nine months last year.
And recently, it appears the Bodyguard and Game of Thrones actor Madden is getting close with Smith’s ex.
Is Richard Madden really dating Sam Smith’s ex Brandon Flynn?
Madden and Flynn are roommates in Los Angeles, according to the Daily Mail.
It’s not unusual for actors, especially those not native to California, to room together at this time of year.
Many actors get close during pilot season (January to April), the peak auditioning time for TV roles.
The rumors flared up this week when paparazzi shots showed Flynn, with Madden, buying marijuana cigarettes together. Marijuana cigarettes are legal to buy in California.
Fans also spotted Madden and Flynn at a performance of All About Eve, starring Kate Winslet, in London.
Madden was also spotted walking Flynn’s dog.
And then the two took selfies of themselves wearing matching necklaces.

And finally, Smith then allegedly unfollowed Madden on Instagram.
The combination of all four has sent the internet wild. Although they could be nothing more than friends, many are now speculating that Madden and Flynn are dating.
However, this has not been confirmed by either of the two or by their representatives.

It’s believed Madden has only ever dated women in the past.
The Scottish actor had a relationship with Doctor Who star Jenna Coleman, which ended in 2015. He has also dated presenter Laura Whitmore, model Suki Waterhouse, and actor-model Ellie Bamber.
Some have also suggested Madden, who recently won a Golden Globe, could be bisexual.

Richard Madden’s gay roles
Madden will be playing Elton John’s manager, John Reid, in the upcoming biopic Rocketman.
Taron Egerton, who plays the singer, has confirmed there’s a gay sex scene.
‘I probably shouldn’t be telling you this but we have a sex scene,’ Egerton told The List.
‘We went to some places and got quite physical.’
He also added: ‘I’ve watched it back and I think it looks great.
Madden also previously played a gay character on Channel 4 drama Sirens.
