There has been a new update in the divorce of Jeff Leatham and Colton Haynes.

Leatham officially responded to Haynes, 29, filing for divorce earlier this month. People Magazine obtained the response.

The florist, 46, cited irrenconcilable differences in his papers, just as Haynes did.

He also requested the court not be involved in awarding spousal support to either him or his separated husband. Their official date of separation is listed as 1 May 2018.

News of the couple’s separation first surfaced as Haynes deleted all photos of his former beau from his Instagram. He then also dropped the word ‘husband’ from his bio and ‘Leatham’ from his name.

Leatham also dropped his own hyphenated name.

A swift end

The couple married in October of last year and Kris Jenner officiated the ceremony.

Each of them proposed to one another — Leatham first, and then Haynes.

Many people assumed Leatham cheated on Haynes when the latter released a song not long after the separation.

The song, titled Man It Sucks, is about a failed relationship after one partner cheats on the other.

However, Haynes took to Twitter and clarified the song is not about Leatham. He wrote: ‘Jeff would never cheat. He’s an amazing man. Please stop being mean to him. The song I wrote was about a past relationship.’
