After causing international waves for kissing a man during opening ceremonies for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, John Barrowman headed to the US to spread his charm at ComicCon International.
The one-time Torchwood star was at the annual fan convention in San Diego over the weekend to talk up Arrow, the hit series on The CW on which he has been made a regular.
In place to chat with the site TV Fanatic, Barrowman was initially more interested in flirting with a straight cameraman filming the interview than answering questions about the upcoming season.
‘He’s really cute,’ Barrowman says into the camera. ‘If you haven’t seen him, he’s really, really cute. He’s got nice, curly hair. … He’s dressed in nice shorts and he’s got a … T-shirt on – he looks like he’s got good guns.’
Barrowman then asks the cameraman, whose name is Eric, to show him the size of his open hand and then seemed pleased with what he saw.
Once the interview finally started, Barrowman was asked about some of his hunky co-stars on the show – namely Stephen Amell and Colton Haynes.
‘He joked that it is in his contract that none of them are allowed to be clothed on the set – except for their underwear – whenever he is around.
‘It’s like a candy store,’ he said.
