Jordan Redford Gossamer Gray is an English-born recording artist, actress, author, activist, and BBC’s The Voice UK semi-finalist 2016. She made TV history as the show’s first ever transgender contestant – and the first competitor ever to be asked back to the show within the same series.

Now she’s gracing Digital Pride with her unique musical talents.  Watch her energetic performance below:

Jordan regularly tours the UK and Scandinavia. Until very recently, she performed exclusively under the stage-pseudonym ‘Tall Dark Friend’. Her 2016 ‘Pride Tour’ saw her main-staging solo at 40+ national prides and recognised festivals.

She also headlines occasionally in London with her band The Corridors. Hailing from Essex, she officially resides in Scotland and calls Sweden her spiritual home.

Her piano/synth-based, genre-hopping live shows comprise mind-blowing medleys and mash-ups, heart-stopping original tracks and covers from the 20s-to-the-teenies.

Her original material spans many genres and her voice and stage persona have been likened to Marc Bolan, Kate Bush, Michael Jackson, Freddy Mercury, David Bowie, Florence Welch and Tracy Chapman.
