Queer actor Keiynan Lonsdale, known for his roles in The Flash and Love, Simon (and wonderfully queer music), attended the star-studded GLAAD Media Awards.
One of the other best moments happened on the red carpet and involved Lonsdale himself.
You see, he donned a pirate outfit for the big night and he looked good.
The shininess of the satin! The striped pants! All that leather! The earrings! That choker.
This outfit deserves to be put on display in a museum somewhere.
It even rivals Adam Rippon’s leather harness at the Oscars earlier this year.
Here’s another look at it:
He even has a little pirate pouch hanging from his hip.
Undoubtedly some will be less charmed by the outfit, but others adored it.
i am LIVING for this look

Yeah, he did.
The goodness didn’t end there, though.
Lonsdale sent out his own message of inspiration, confidence, and belief in everyone the morning of the awards.
..There are a lot of lies when you’re in the closet, & it can make you feel like the worst person in the world – you are not. You are going through suffering, & you’re just trying to navigate yourself through it. One day you won’t have to lie anymore, & I’m excited for you ❤️✨
