Kim Petras will play at Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras Party 2019

German singer Kim Petras will be among the artists performing at the Sydney 2019 Mardi Gras Party. The party will take place on 2 March 2019, immediately after the parade.

2019 marks the 41st Sydney Mardi Gras Festival anniversary. The festival starts on Friday 15 February, running through until Sunday 3 March.

Petras is among the first acts being announced for the biggest Pride event in Australia.

The German-born trans artist will bring to the dancefloor bangers like I Don’t Want It At All and Heart To Break. Petras has collaborated with the like several artists, such as Charli XCX and SOPHIE. She also most recently toured with pop star Troye Sivan on his Bloom Tour in the US.

Dance trio PNAU will join Petras on stage

Multi award-winning Australian dance trio PNAU will also perform.

PNAU will perform with a full electronic band set-up and a guest vocalist. Their 2017 album Changa included hits like Chameleon and Go Bang and swept up ARIAs in both 2017 and 2018.

The party will also include a diverse line-up of DJs from both Australia and overseas. These are the DJs announced so far: Amanda Louise, Ben Drayton, Brooke Powers, Butch le Butch, DJ Charlie Villas, DJ Hamo, The Dollar Bin Darlings, Dom De Sousa, Feisty, HipHopHoe, Kitty Glitter, Magda Bytnerowicz, Matt Jay, SVETA, Toy Armada (PH) & DJ GRIND (USA) and Victoria Anthony.

Organizers will announce the full line-up next year.
