WATCH: Kit Williamson remembers perfect honeymoon with John Halbach in Vienna

Kit Williamson and John Halbach

Mad Men stat Kit Williamson has reminisced about his belated honeymoon to Vienna, Austria with husband John Haibach.

The actors married in a lavish ceremony in Joshua Tree National Park in 2016.

Although Kit and John have traveled the world extensively since tying the knot, they chose the romantic European capital as their honeymoon destination of choice last year.

‘I was also struck by how inclusive the city was’

Speaking to Gay Star News, Kit said: ‘Just a few of our favorite highlights from the trip were drinking a beer and touring the street art along the Danube River Canal and eating homemade apple cake at Vollpension, a cafe staffed entirely by grandmothers and touring the grounds at Belvedere Palace.

‘Attending Life Ball [the largest charity event in Europe supporting people with HIV or AIDS] was so incredibly inspiring. To see the whole city come together to support of those charities was incredibly moving.’

He furthermore added: ‘I was also struck by how inclusive the city was; they even have gay and lesbian couples on some of their crosswalk lights!’
