Lesbian YouTuber wins revenge porn case and celebrates by getting engaged

Chrissy Chambers and Bria Kam celebrating their engagement and revenge porn lawsuit win.

Lesbian YouTube personality Chrissy Chambers won her revenge porn lawsuit in the United Kingdom.

Chambers, who’s from the US and lives in Los Angeles, first filed suit against her British ex-boyfriend in 2016. They dated when Chambers was 18. She’s now 26.

In 2009, he allegedly uploaded videos of them having sex and identified Chambers by name. She did not find out unil 2013, and the UK didn’t pass revenge porn laws until 2015.

The High Court in London today awarded Chambers’ damages in her case.

Her ex-boyfriend accepted liability for the videos. He agreed to pay an undisclosed sum, which Chambers’ lawyers called ‘substantial’, and also covered legal fees.

‘[This] should serve as a severe warning to those who seek to extort and harm with revenge porn: you cannot do this with impunity, and you will be held accountable for your actions,’ Chambers said after she won her case.

‘To every victim of this insidious kind of attack, I am here to say: You can fight back, and win. You will heal and move on – and you will not have to take those steps alone.’

The best way to celebrate is with a ring

Winning her case wasn’t the only victory of Chambers’ day.

She also revealed she proposed to her longtime girlfriend Bria Kam and Kam said yes.

Chambers and Kam run a YouTube account called BriaAndChrissy, which first began in 2012 (as did their relationship). They have over 750,000 subscribers and often highlight LGBTQ issues in their videos.
