Watch 9 of the world’s best LGBTI choirs perform holiday classics

The Washington Gay Men's Chorus

The holiday season is upon us, and whether you’re celebrating Christmas or just a break from your normal routine, these performances are sure to leave you feeling warm and seasonal.

1. Boston Gay Men’s Chorus – ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’

The men from Massachusetts keep things camp but classy.

2. Gays and Lesbian Singers Auckland (GALS) – ‘Winter Wonderland’

How could you not feel festive after listening to this offering from New Zealand?

3. Los Angeles Gay Men’s Chorus – ‘Hanukkah in Santa Monica’

Extra credit for extensive gesturing and jazz hands!

4. London Gay Men’s Chorus – ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’

Happy clappy fun from the UK.

5. Washington Gay Men’s Chorus – ‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen’

Tidings of comfort and joy from D.C.

6. San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus – ‘Carol of the Bells’

Ding and, indeed, dong.

7. San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus  – ‘North Pole Rock & Roll’

Possibly the biggest gay men’s chorus in the world, catch the boys performing their annual ‘Home for the Holidays‘ show on Christmas Eve at the Castro Theatre at 5pm, 7pm and 9pm.

8. The Pink Singers – ‘To a Locomotive in Winter’

One of the most beautiful odes to the season from this London-based LGBTI choir.

9. And finally, as part of a festive flashmob, watch the Sydney Lesbian and Gay Choir (below) bring seasonal cheer to shoppers at the Darling Harbour shopping mall earlier this month.
