Madonna announces Rebel Heart world tour

Pop superstar Madonna is to promote her new album ‘Rebel Heart’ with a tour stretching around the world from Miami to Manchester.

The ‘Living For Love’ hitmaker has planned to be on the road from August to December this year, with plenty of room for more dates to be added.

Her 2012 ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour grossed over $400 million (€356 million) and remains the biggest selling tour by a solo artist.

The highly anticipated tour follows the recent success of her Brit and Grammy appearances.

Her album ‘Rebel Heart’ includes three iTunes chart-topping songs, and the single ‘Living for Love’ which is currently heading up the US dance charts.

The Queen of Pop’s fan club members, along with the tour sponsor Citi® cardholders, get first dibs of pre-release tickets on 3 and 4 March.

Madonna also plans to add dates in South East Asia and Australia, the first time in over 20 years. The American leg of her tour will cover 35 states and the European leg will cover 10 countries including the UK, Italy and Spain.
