UK citizen Mike Roach has been together with his US boyfriend for two years.
But the 20-year-old from Liverpool was recently denied a tourist visa to visit his partner in Tennessee after his entitlement to a visa waiver expired.
If Mike had been in a straight relationship with an American citizen, he may have had other options.
To voice his frustration, Mike created a petition and made a YouTube clip.
