Miley Cyrus just released the empowering new music video for her song Mother’s Daughter.
The 26-year-old singer took to Twitter today (2 July) to post the latex-filled video featuring LGBTI people like skateboarder Lacey Baker, model Casil McArthur and model Aaron Philip.
‘Mother’s Daughter music video out now!’ she tweeted. ‘Music makes movements! We got the power!’

The new music video, of course, also features a cameo from Miley’s mother, Tish.
She also tweeted photos of the models from the shoot.
One such photo was of trans woman of color, Aaron Philip.
‘Thank you Miley,’ Philip wrote on Twitter. ‘I love you so much. What a phenomenal video.’
She then added: ‘Not enough words to encapsulate how deeply honored I am.’
