This is the moment a gay man was killed in Mosul, Iraq

Images have emerged of Islamic extremists hurling a man from a rooftop for being gay.

Propaganda for ISIS has claimed the man being led to the top of the building in Mosul, Iraq was being punished for homosexuality.

The pictures show him being thrown to the ground below and then pelted with rocks.

A crowd of men gather at the scene while a pile a heavy stones is seen nearby.

At least five young boys can be seen at the front of the mob.

Then once as the victim lies broken on the ground, men clutch rocks ready to pelt the corpse.

ISIS then transferred the bodies, after they had been finished off by stoning, to a hole west of Mosul.

The pictures were posted online by the group Terror Monitor and reported by Iraqi News.

Ever since ISIS have come to power in Iraq and parts of Syria, researchers have said many men have been forced to join the group and fight or face being executed themselves.

Hundreds of LGBTI people have been killed by Islamic extremists. Gay people, according to ISIS, are the ‘worst of creatures’.
