Rami Malek will be going from Mr. Robot to Mr. Rocker.
The Emmy winning actor has landed the role of Freddie Mercury in a new biopic about the legendary band Queen.
The film, titled Bohemian Rhapsody, has long been in development with Sacha Baron Cohen at one point set to star.
But Cohen dropped out and the project fell into limbo.
Now Malek is attached and out director Bryan Singer (X-Men) is in talks to direct.
The Queen frontman died in 1991 from complications due to AIDS at the age of 45.
He wrote and composed numerous hits for Queen including Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, Somebody to Love, Don’t Stop Me Now, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and We Are the Champions.
