Former N’Sync singer Lance Bass Saturday (20 December) married his boyfriend of four years Michael Tuchin in a star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles.
The ceremony was held at the Park Plaza hotel and only lasted 15 minutes.
Bass, 35, started dating his 27-year-old husband in 2011 and proposed to him in September last year.
‘Today I marry the man of my dreams. He makes me smile; he makes my heart melt; he makes me….me,’ he tweeted.
Bass wrote in a blog on Brides.com that the ceremony would be an ‘opulent’ ‘ over-the-top party’ and the dresscode was ‘royal wedding meets the Met Ball.’
Former ‘N Sync bandmates Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick attended the wedding while JC Chasez sang Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love for the couple’s first dance.
Justin Timberlake is still on tour and was unable to attend.
Friends Jamie-Lynn Sigler and JoAnna Garcia Swisher officiated the wedding.
Other celebrity guests included Pussycat Dolls co-founder Robin Antin, Christina Appelgate, Carmen Electra, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd, Backstreet Boys singer AJ McLean and Gabourey Sidibe.
A 90-minute E! special Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding will air on 5 Februabry, the first time an American television network is broadcasting a celebrity wedding between two men.
