Will & Grace fans mark your calendars.
NBC announced today it will air the premiere of the classic sitcom’s revival on 28 September.
The show’s 12 new episodes will air at 9 pm on Thursdays – the same time slot the show had during its original 1998-2006 run.
The new ninth season comes after the four stars – Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally – reunited for a mini episode last fall in support of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
The reunion went viral and has been viewed more than 7 million times.
All four of the show’s leads won at least one Emmy Award during the original run of the show about two gay men and their best gal pals.
The Will & Grace revival comes at a time when several other beloved series are getting a second life on network television or via streaming service.
Others include Roseanne, Gilmore Girls, Arrested Development and Full House.
