Netflix has just dropped its trailer for the third series of makeover reboot Queer Eye, featuring its first ever lesbian makeover.

We’re just sitting here wondering: Why did it take so long?

The new series is set to pull at the heartstrings as well as putting right a whole new bunch of fashion faux pas. But the star is almost certainly going to be the show’s first ever lesbian makeover candidate.

‘Jess came out when she was 16 years old,’ Fab Five member Karamo Brown tells his four Queer Eye co-conspirators. ‘This is our first lesbian.’

Pressure to fit in

The trailer reveals what is likely to be a very emotional episode as Jess reveals the challenges she constantly faces.

‘I had pretty much given up on kind, genuine people,’ she explains in the trailer. ‘They expected me to be someone else: More black, less white; more gay, less gay. I feel like I don’t belong.”

But the fab five set about changing not only Jess’s look, but also her confidence and belief in herself.

The group posted on their Twitter feed: ‘YOU. ARE. NOT. READY. The Fab 5 is back with new heroes, more tears and, of course, ‘holy sh*t’ transformations. Queer Eye returns March 15, only on Netflix.’

If the trailer is anything to go by the transformation is set to be incredible and we can’t wait to see it.
