Main character Ulysses in Now Apocalypse

The first trailer for Starz’s new television series about the end of the world in Los Angeles has arrived and it’s something else. Featuring an explosive (literally) orgasm, sexual fluidity, and a human-lizard creature, this show promises to be unlike anything else.

Now Apocalypse four friends in LA —¬†Ulysses, Carly, Ford, and Severine. Per the synoposis of the show, they’re all ‘on various quests pursuing love, sex and fame’.

When Ulysses starts experience weird and dark dreams, however, he begins to wonder if there are darker forces at play… or if he’s just smoking too much weed before bed.

Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) also appears in the show as Gabriel and he’s who shares the aforementioned orgasm scene with Ulysses. Plus, he warns of the impending apocalypse.

Might as well enjoy yourself for the end of the world

As Carly says in the trailer: ‘I’m a millennial, so sexual fluidity is kind of a requirement.’

Cut to her spanking a guy with a paddle a little too hard.

The two-minute trailer is full of bright colors, poppy electric music, and a lifestyle that may not quite be relatable, but certainly looks entertaining to watch.

Gregg Araki and Karley Sciortino are writing the series, with Araki also set to direct. Steven Soderbergh, Gregory Jacobs, and Araki will executive produce the series.

It debuts on Starz on 10 March.
