LGBTI celebrities are getting in on the new Snapchat filter craze and sharing the results on social media.
In case you’ve not seen, Snapchat released new filters last week that allow users to transform their faces into traditional portrayals of masculine and feminine features. It also released a filter that turns users into children.
The ‘feminine’ filter gives the user longer hair, a narrower jaw, narrower chin and smoother skin. While the ‘masculine’ filter endows the user with a more defined jaw, facial hair and thicker brows.
While some have been calling it harmless fun, others have criticized Snapchat for playing into gender normative stereotypes.
But users have been posting their pics all over social media and now LGBTI celebrities are doing it too.
