Openly gay actor cast as lead gender non-conforming role in new CW drama

Ben J Pierce

CW’s new drama Glamorous casted openly gay actor Ben J Pierce to play its lead role.

Pierce will play Marco, a gender non-conforming teenager and recent high school graduate.

Marco’s life changes after an unplanned rant on YouTube ends up landing him his dream job as an intern at a cosmetics company, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Brooke Shields plays Madolyn – CEO of the cosmetics company – while soap actor Pierson Fodé will play an openly gay character.
