Bi actress, singer and model Paris Jackson says she doesn’t believe new claims that her father, Michael Jackson, was a child sex abuser.

Jackson has also not seen the Leaving Neverland documentary according to entertainment website TMZ.

The aspiring actress, however, is concerned that the Leaving Neverland documentary may ruin her chances of success as a performer.

British newspaper The Sun reported that Jackson told friends she was anxious about how the documentary would affect her acting career.

The Sun quoted a source close to Jackson as saying: ‘Paris had hoped to launch a successful career in acting but fears Leaving Neverland has ruined her chances of it taking off.

Aspiring star concerned about future career

‘She was in a movie last year but believes the documentary is already scaring directors away because the abuse her father is accused of may put movie goers off her.

‘It all comes down to marketing. The worry is that any movies she stars in will be derailed if Michael’s abuse scandal is all people think about when they see her on screen. She wants to act but knows this could affect those plans.’

Although Jackson has made no public comment, she posted a message on her Twitter feed to her 1.3m fans on Tuesday.

‘don’t take life too seriously, life already takes itself serious enough as it is’, she wrote.

Paris Jackson was only 11 years old when her father died. Last year she revealed she was bisexual. She appeared to confirm she was bi when asked during an Instagram Q&A.

“That’s what you guys call it so I guess, but who needs labels”, Jackson replied at the time.

Leaving Neverland is a four hour long documentary featuring two men who say they were abused by the global pop sensation, while they were children.
