Cape Town saw its LGBTI community taking to the streets on Saturday 2 March.
The annual parade celebrating the community marched under the theme ‘I am me, no excuses, no regrets’ this year.
This was the 26th Cape Town Pride
2019 marks the 26th anniversary from the first march in Cape Town.
Hundreds of revelers marched in colorful outfits to unapologetically affirm their true identity. People of all age, gender identities and sexualities came out under a scorching sun to party.
Another coveted LGBTI event in South Africa is the annual Pride in the capital Johannesburg. Dates for 2019 are yet to be announced.
