Princess Nokia, The Veronicas and Lauren Jauregui to play New York Pride

New York City Pride has revealed the lineup performing at this year’s PrideFest.

After revealing the lineup for Pride Island and the opening ceremony, organizers spilled the tea on who’s playing the annual LGBTI street fair.

PrideFest combines exhibitors, entertainers and activities for a day of fun and celebration. The event is completely free and open to the public.

2019 will see queer women taking the stage in a location yet to be confirmed.

Princess Nokia will headline this year’s PrideFest on 30 June.

The rapper first broke onto the New York underground rap scene in 2010 and has been an advocate for LGBTI equality ever since.

Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui will also take the stage. The bisexual singer has now gone solo with the release of her debut song Expectations.

Australian pop duo The Veronicas will bring their iconic tunes to New York. Twin sisters Jessica and Lisa Origliasso boast a decade-long career and have a new album up their sleeve.

WorldPride 2019

LGBTI celebrations span the whole month, culminating in the march on Sunday 30 June.

New York will also be the official host of WorldPride 2019, marking the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
