In the emotional video, Brad Guy says he questioned why he was alive after the accident.

Now he knows he was kept alive so he could meet the love of his life.

Guy almost died after his parachute didn’t open during a skydiving experience.

Four years ago, Guy’s parachute and back up both failed to open.

This meant he free fell from 15,000 feet, at a speed of 80km/h.

He had assumed that after recovering physically, his life would go back to normal.

In the years following the accident however, Guy suffered with depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.

‘I can’t picture my life without you’

Guy’s boyfriend Beau had previously mentioned Northern Ireland was his ‘favorite place in the world.’

In the build up to the proposal, Guy repeatedly spoke about being nervous.

He didn’t understand why he was nervous because ‘I’m just confessing my love.’

During the proposal, Guy tells his Beau ‘I just can’t picture my life without you’
