Capitol Hill recently received some glamorous faces — the Fab Five (minus Karamo Brown) from Netflix’s Queer Eye.
On Thursday (4 April), Jonathan Van Ness, Bobby Berk, Tan France, and Antoni Porowski toured DC and took a trip to visit Congress on Capitol Hill. While there, they spent some quality time with House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
This is what happened when makeover icons met political icons, and all looked amazing in the process.
In another Instagram post, Van Ness, in a beautiful pleated skirt, showed himself walking down the hallways of Capitol Hill whispering to Ocasio-Cortez.
Van Ness captioned the video saying he was talking policy and the Equality Act with the House member, but we hope they also discussed grooming tips too.
And what is social media without selfies and photos of said selfies?

This fun gathering followed an exchange between Ocasio-Cortez and Berk, in which Ocasio-Cortez implored the interior designer to do up her congressional office.
‘Swing by our office!’ she exclaimed in response to a tweet from Berk. ‘We’ve barely had time to hang anything up, three of my staffers are expecting babies, and we’ve got a bach pad/warehouse type situation out here. 😩 SOS!’
She did add some good news, though.
‘People are leaving a rainbow of positive post-its on our wall so that’s cute.’
Here’s hoping their time bonding on Captiol Hill will lead to an office makeover.
Hill reporters also had fun with the star-studded morning.
Natalie Andrews of the Wall Street Journal tweeted about the experience:
Four of the five Queer Eye guys just walked into an office in the Capitol. The @AOC walked in.
This is the reporting that I’m doing today.

Washington Post reporter Mike DeBonis also snagged a photo.

Finally, there was also, of course, some posing on the Mall.
Definitely a glamorous day for politics.
