The men of Netflix’s Queer Eye recently undertook their latest transformation by helping three high school students achieve their dreams of performing on stage.
Four of the five makeover experts are enlisted for the video, including Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, and Bobby Berk.
In the video for a remix of the song This Is Me from the movie musical The Greatest Showman, the men meet with students Tim, Olivia and J’Shawn.
Each student has their own talent and passion they’re pursuing. For Tim, it’s rapping, while Olivia wants to sing, and J’Shawn is a dancer.
It’s hard not to get chills when all three have their chance to shine in the limelight at the end.
Benji Pasek and Justin Paul wrote the uplifting anthem for last year’s movie. It went on to win the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, but lost out on the Oscar to Remember Me from Pixar’s Coco.
Pasek and Paul have previously written the songs for the movie La La Land and the Best Musical Tony winner Dear Evan Hansen.
Keala Settle performed the song in the movie. She also appears in this remix alongside Missy Elliott. The song appears on The Greatest Showman: Reimagined soundtrack, with contemporary artists covering the movie’s songs.
Netflix’s Queer Eye reboot first premiered earlier this year. It immediately took people by storm with its hopeful message and magnetic leads.
This video is no different.
With the four men encouraging and helping the students, viewers will fall in love all over again — and also ask when Season 3 is coming out.
Tim, Oliva, and J’Shawn are all very talented to boot.
Atlantic Records has partnered with VH1 on the album to support the network’s Save the Music Foundation.
