Bruce Jenner, no stranger to reality television, is about to embark on a TV project far different from his years on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
A series documenting Jenner’s ‘journey’ is in development at E! Entertainment, according to Variety.
Although the network or Jenner has not confirmed the theme, it is widely believed the show will follow the 1976 Olympic Gold Medalist transitioning from male to female.
The show has no title or premiere date.
Jenner’s stepdaughter Kim Kardashian ratcheted up speculation this week when she told Entertainment Tonight: ‘I guess I’ll kind of let everyone be curious and I feel like that’s his journey to talk about. I will say that I think Bruce should tell his story his way.’
She added: ‘I think everyone goes through things in life and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right.’
Since his split from Kris Jenner, the 1976 Olympian’s appearance has changed. He’s grown his hair quite long, had a procedure to have his Adam’s Apple ‘shaved’ down and has been photographed wearing bright fingernail polish.
His transformation has many talking this week including the ladies of the CBS talk show The Talk.
‘I admire him,’ said co-host Sharon Osbourne. ‘I think he’s amazingly brave and I think that he will help so many people by coming out. People can relate to him and see there’s no shame in it…I just applaud him.’
