Jersey Shore's Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, who has been seen occasionally kissing girls on MTV's reality hit Jersey Shore, has acknowledged that she's not just doing it for the cameras.
'I would consider myself bi,' Polizzi said in an interview this week with Huffington Post. 'I’ve done stuff with girls before. But I would never bewith a girl because I like… penis. But I’ve experimented.'
Viewers got a good look at that experimentation in an episode last September when Polizzi made out passionately with best friend Deena Cortese after having a fight with her boyfriend.
Polizzi and housemate Jenni 'JWoww' Farley are set to begin filming their own Jersey Shore spinoff series later this month in the Grove Street Path neighborhood of Jersey City, New Jersey. They had initially wanted to shoot the show in nearby Hoboken, N.J. but were denied a permit.
In the Huffington Post interview, both women speculated on the sexuality of Jersey Shore castmate Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino.
'His posture and the way he holds his cigarettes… everything,' said Farley. 'I can’t confirm or deny with Mike, but if he was, it would all make sense. He brings it up. He’ll say, 'People think I’m gay and I don’t know what they’re talking about.''
Added Polizzi: 'He told me one time, '[All the talk is] making me wonder.''
Jersey Shore was an instant hit when it premiered on MTV in December of 2009. It initially followed the lives of eight housemates spending their summer on the Jersey Shore. Subsequent seasons have taken the group to Miami and to Italy. The show, which began its fifth season last month, is now back in the Jersey Shore.
