Ricky Martin has discussed details of his upcoming wedding to artist Jwan Yosef.

The She Bangs singer revealed in a new interview that he has narrowed the location down to four destinations.

‘Planning a wedding is super overwhelming,’ he told Ocean Drive magazine.

‘We want to do it right, hopefully next spring. We’ll do the three-day event as I call it.

‘We still don’t know where we will do it, Los Angeles, Puerto Rico or in Sweden, where my fiancé is from, or in Spain, where I am also from.’

Why Stockholm is clearly one of Europe’s gayest cities

Jwan is Armenian Syrian-born Swedish, and of Kurdish and Armenian ancestry. The fact that a lot of his family lives in Syria is influencing wedding planning, Ricky furthermore added.

‘We also have to deal with the fact that most of my fiancé’s family is from Syria,’ he said. ‘So maybe they won’t be able to come into this country.

‘So we might consider doing it in Stockholm or in Spain. We don’t know yet, but it’s going to be a great event.’

‘I am going to share my wedding with the world’

Ricky is a dad to nine-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino.

He also said: ‘People will be talking about it. We’re a modern family, and I think people need to see, and I want to normalize the beauty of our family.
