Stephen Colbert has never been one to shy away from controversy.
So when Russian President Vladimir Putin banned all depictions of him in drag, Colbert took up the challenge to portray him as gay as possible.
The resulting video shows a super gay Putin in short shorts and drag make-up dancing to RuPaul’s Cover Girl.

It also features President Trump fondling Putin’s buffed-up chest while riding a rainbow unicorn.
‘Because this is America, for now,’ Colbert jests.
‘And we can do anything we want – the Late Show has put together our own artistic interpretation of Vladimir Putin: Gay Icon,’ he says.
