A new Ryan Murphy show will feature the highest number of trans series regulars ever for a scripted show.
The five actors playing regular roles are: MJ Rodriguez, Indya Moore, Dominique Jackson, Hailie Sahar, and Angelica Ross.
They will all be playing trans characters.
MJ Rodriguez will play a character called Blanca, and has previously appeared in Nurse Jackie, The Carrie Diaries and Luke Cage.
Hailie Sahar will play Lulu and has also played roles in Mr. Robot and Transparent.
It took a six-month nationwide search to find the cast.
Also due to appear on the show are: Ryan Jamaal Swain, Billy Porter and Dyllon Burnside.
Murphy created the show with Brad Falchuk and Steven Canals.
Falchuk and Murphy have previously worked together on the likes of Nip/Tuck and American Horror Story.
Trans activist Silas Howard will serve as co-executive producer on the show.
Canals involved Our Lady J and Janet Mock in the script writing process.
