Reality star Rylan Clark-Neal has slammed reports he has lost his job as a presenter on English TV show This Morning.

The face of This Morning’s showbiz segment is to be replaced by Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo. Former Made In Chelsea star Toff recently won I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

It’s unclear whether the change is permanent, but some reports and social media users have suggested that it is.

‘I’m not pregnant’

However, former X Factor star Rylan said on Twitter: ‘Truth is I need a break. I’ve been working constantly for 5 years and I need time to myself.’

He later added: ‘One last time. I’m having a little break from @thismorning I’m very lucky to be working a lot and I appreciate it.’

He furthermore continued: ‘Everyone works hard in all industries I’m just taking a break that’s all. I’ve not been sacked, not pregnant, just having a little time off. See you on @bbuk x’

In June 2016, Rylan and his husband Dan became the first gay couple to co-host the long-running morning show.

Some viewers seemed annoyed at Rylan’s comments, with one tweeting: ‘Try working 20 years for the NHS we could all do with a break!’

After causing a stir on the 2011 series of X Factor, Rylan’s star continued to rise after a memorable stay in the Celebrity Big Brother house the following year.

He now presents the showbiz behemoth’s various spin-off shows.
