Sam Smith music from when he was 16 released

Sam Smith has been laying low for a while now since his Oscar speech gaff, likely enjoying some peace and quiet away from the spotlight.

But a record label is ready to shine that light bright on the gay singer-songwriter again.

Back in 2008, a young Sam signed a deal with Flipbook Music. The songs he made during that time were never released, kept in the vaults, but are still owned by that record label.

The album was called Sam Smith Diva Boy.

And now, eyeing those moneybags, the label has created a music video for the ‘lead single’, called Momentarily Mine. It shows a young Sam crooning away on a stool, as well as getting his makeup done.

‘Sam’s going to hate you for uploading this,’ said one fan.

‘Sam will love this video and song because it is Sam’s own honest historical footprint and he has always said he wants to be as “honest as possible”.

Tracks from Sam Smith Diva Boy are available to listen to on Flipbook’s ‘official’ Sam Smith website.
