YouTube singer Sam Tsui comes out as gay in his most recent video, and even reveals that he is getting hitched.
The news may have come as a huge surprise for the 2.4 million subscribers on Sam’s YouTube channel as it is not usual for him to share about his love life publicly.
There had been a lot of speculations regarding Sam’s sexuality when he first rose to fame around 2011-2012 with amazing covers of popular hits like We Found Love by Rihanna and The One Who Got Away by Katy Perry, which have both reached over 3 million views each.
However, Sam did not speak out to address the questions, and instead, stayed focused on his singing career and on building his online fan base.
In his vlog, Sam explains that he has actually been in a long term relationship with fellow YouTube star, Casey Breves, who had appeared in a couple of his previous videos, like the mashup of ‘What Do You Mean’ by Justin Bieber and ‘One Last Time’ by Ariana Grande.
He also affirmed that though he did not come earlier, it does not mean that he is shamed of being gay. He said that he is proud of who he is, and his relationship with Casey, whom he calls ‘amazing.’
Sam did not specify any more details about this newly publicised relationship, but he did promise to share more about it on his future videos.
