Same-sex male dancers slay in this sizzling salsa routine

Jonathan Troncoso and Jorge Valcarcel

American reality TV dancing competition World of Dance just featured its first sizzling same-sex salsa duo on Tuesday (26 February).

Jonathan Troncoso and Jorge Valcarcel (known together as Jonathan y Jorge) only met in 2017. In fact, two weeks after they met, they won second place at a dancing World Championship event.

But now they have their sights set on the taking out the top spot of World of Dance.

They performed a high energy routine on the premiere episode of season three of the reality dance competition, executive produced by Jennifer Lopez.

As soon as they walked out in their mesh sparkly tops, Lopez commented in shock: ‘What is happening? They are J-Lo back up dancers!’

The sexy salsa routine saw the pair spin, twist and strut their stuff on stage.

We just wanna dance,’ the pair told Out. We want to bring awareness to the same-gender dance community.

They then added: ‘We want everyone to see that same-gender dancing can be just as strong and impactful as traditional dancing.

‘We want people to see us and like or dislike us as dancers and not simply because we’re two men dancing together,’ they said.
