Shia LaBeouf called police officer ‘fag’ in Cabaret arrest

Shia LaBeouf reportedly used a homophobic slur when he was arrested during a performance of Cabaret last night (26 June).

The actor was reportedly disruptive and smoking during the first act of the performance at the Studio 54 theater in New York City.

According to police, LaBeouf was ‘ranting and rambling incoherently, threatening the officers and using offensive language’.

‘Fuck you, I’ll fuck you up!’ the 28-year-old allegedly said, according to the New York Post.

The Transformers star allegedly started spitting, prompting officers to put a face mask on him at the Midtown-North station house.

‘I have millions and millions of dollars and attorneys,’ he allegedly added. ‘I’m going to ruin your career! Fag!’

LaBeouf was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal harassment. An additional count of harassment was later added.

The Transformers actor has had his fair share of bizarre incidents in the past, such as when head-butted a man in a London bar fight.

Back in 2008, a videotape was released of a younger LaBeouf drunkenly calling his friend a ‘faggot’ and telling the kid to slap him.

His publicist defended him, saying he ‘regretted using the word in any capacity and is very embarrassed that this footage is being seen by anyone’.
