Simon Cowell wants his day in court over claims he is gay
Phone recording played in fellow X Factor judge’s drugs case claims the music mogul has slept with several men

Simon Cowell wants to respond in court to claims he is secretly gay.
A recording of a phone conversation played in court yesterday (17 July) claimed the American Idol and X Factor judge has slept with several men.
The claim was made at the trial of Tulisa Contostavlos, who judged on The X Factor UK from 2011 to 2012 and is accused of supplying Class A drugs.
Cowell, 54, has had several girlfriends and recently became a father for the first time. But it appears that hasn’t stopped the unproven rumors about his sexuality.
GSN asked his representatives if they wished to respond to the claim.
A Simon Cowell spokesman said: ‘We are bound by contempt of court rules so cannot respond to these claims in the manner we wish to.
‘We are speaking to the Attorney General’s office – and we intend to make a statement in court as soon as possible.’
