Sinitta’s first new single in over 20 years will be performed at London Gay Pride.
The American-born singer, who rose to fame in the 1980s with her singles Toy Boy and So Macho, has her eyes set on the charts again as she’s re-released her mother Miquel Brown’s disco tune.
In an interview with gay publication Out In The City, Sinitta said she was ready to get back into the studio, and is looking to release a new album in the near future.
‘It was long overdue to get back in the studio. So Many Men just seemed like the perfect choice, it is a kind of song to break the ice and I’m looking forward to singing it for the first time at London Pride.
‘I’m also working on an album of new material and now that I’m back the creative juices are flowing.’
Out In the City magazine editor, David Hudson, said: ‘Gay audiences love Sinitta. So Macho and Toy Boy are huge gay anthems and the new single has the potential to be the same.
‘Launching her new single at Pride is a big statement from Sinitta, who will be hoping to appeal to the older fans who will best know her from the X Factor, and a new generation of fans.
